Hello,
I'm Ajeet Anand
I was born into the quiet vastness of the Himalayan range — a countryside soul shaped by silence, light, and landscape.
My earliest encounters with photography came through my father, a photographer. I began by carrying bags, holding reflectors, and being present on shoots — absorbing more than I realized. What started as helping out gradually became something more. Without planning it, I found myself working professionally, camera in hand, chasing moments. It began as duty, and slowly bloomed into curiosity.
Years passed. Something shifted.
What once felt like a tool became a language. Photography was no longer just about the frame — it was about what I felt before clicking it. That shift brought more questions than answers, and those questions became my teachers. They led me deeper — into cinematography, assisting filmmakers I deeply admired, being mentored by incredible storytellers, and eventually pursuing a Master’s degree, not for a certificate, but to understand myself and my voice.
I’ve been fortunate — to have worked on award-winning films, to travel, to learn, to fail, to grow. But I am still learning. Most of my free time is spent studying images, reading books, experimenting with colour grading. I enjoy the solitude of post-production as much as the chaos of a film set.
This website is a quiet space — a gathering of fragments, an archive of the things I’ve made, loved, and lived. It's both professional and personal — because I don't think the two are very separate anymore.
Welcome to my world.
